# Optionfier

> Custom product options for Shopify: text, file upload, date, color and swatch fields, sold as real bundle components or as build-your-own boxes, with inventory tracked the whole way through.

## What it does

- Add custom product options Shopify variants can't hold: engraving and personalization text, gift messages, file and image uploads, delivery date and time pickers, number fields, color pickers, color and image swatches, checkboxes and add-ons
- Track real inventory for those options: link any choice to a product variant and stock is deducted at fulfillment, marked sold out on the product page, and guarded at checkout
- Sell fixed bundles and kits as native Shopify bundles with per-component inventory, variants and volume discounts
- Turn option choices into real bundle components in the cart (each pick is its own line with its own price and stock)
- Build-your-own box and mix-and-match bundles: a pool of products, pick limits, starter packs, add-ons, free gifts and buy-more-save-more tiers, every pick decrementing its own stock
- Inventory sync: fulfilling one product deducts stock from other products (kits, gift boxes, samplers)
- Conditional options that show or hide, or change quantity, based on another answer
- Multilingual: translate option labels, choices and box copy per language, with machine-translation drafts; storefront wording editable per language
- Shopify POS support (Beta) so staff can set the same options in store
- Import and export option sets as Excel or JSON; bundles and boxes as JSON; bulk edit, back up, or move a setup between stores
- Uploaded files and option answers land on the order, with a packing-slip snippet for printing them
